Why Kit & Ivy exists
Dogs aren't just pets. They're family.
Kit & Ivy started with a simple wish: a nice, refreshing spray to help my dog smell good after hikes and walks. I looked for one and couldn't find anything that matched what I wanted, so I started making my own.
When I started making the scent, the response was so overwhelmingly positive that I realized this could be a real business. That's how Kit & Ivy was born.
I'm Serge, the founder of Kit & Ivy, based in Pasadena, CA. The name comes from two dogs. Kit is my Shiba Inu, half the namesake and the reason this all started. Ivy is a dog me and my husband were in the process of adopting but haven't brought home yet. She's a future family member, and she's already part of the name.
Our first scent
Sandy Shiba
Sandy Shiba is named after all the cute Shibas I kept seeing around Pasadena, including my own. It's a refreshing spray made for after hikes, walks, and everything in between.
Our formulas use dog-safe, natural ingredients, with no harsh chemicals and no synthetic irritants.
Kit & Ivy is made in the USA in an FDA-registered, GMP-compliant facility, and never tested on animals. Every scent is hand chosen to bring out the best in our unique dogs and created in a small batch to ensure high quality always.
